D.M. Roardene (pronounced “roar-din”) is a storyteller who writes nature-inspired fiction for young readers, blending adventure, emotion, and environmental awareness. With a focus on connecting children to the natural world, her work explores themes of wildlife conservation, human impact on ecosystems, and the power of empathy to inspire change.

"Into The Forest of Red" is her debut middle-grade novel, inspired by real-world rainforests and the endangered species that depend on them.
